Jessica Drake was born in Dallas, Texas and spent close to all of her early life moving to various places in Texas. Drake attend the University of Texas-El Paso and majored in psychology. While at college, Jessica made money by performing exotic dance. While working as an exotic dancer, she met many feature dancers who also had careers in adult movies. Drake has mentioned Michael Raven and Sydnee Steele, specifically, as highly influential in her decision to transition from dancing to pornographic films. Jessica's first film was Pussyman's Decadent Divas 4, after spending time in L.A. working for Playboy and as a "condom and lube girl" on the set of a Jill Kelly film. After her tenure with Sin City, Jessica signed with Wicked Pictures in 2003, a company that she has been with ever since. Drake has more than 50 films with Wicked to show for it, too. She has appeared in an HBO special as well as a Tyra Banks episode which were both meant as peeks into the life of porn stars. She has many awards, including most recently Best Actress at the 2009 AVN Awards and Best Actress (Film) at the 2007 AVN Awards.
